I have been a patient of Dr. Peter Karsant for many many years. He’s the most understanding dentist I’ve known. Whenever you are in that dental chair he always explains what he’s doing and whatever else that needs to be done. He never pressures you into doing anything. He’s very much up to date and he keeps up with new dental procedures and what’s new in the dental field. Whatever problems I’ve had when I thought might have been a lost cause; Dr. Karsant has always been able to fix the problem. Believe me I’ve had many problems from chipped and cracked teeth, to extractions, root canals, crowns, bridges, bone grafts, and implants. I bet that Dr. Karsant has gotten some of his experience from me. He has seen me on his days off if I had an emergency day or night even at 10:00pm once. You don’t find many dentists that would do that. Whatever the problem Dr. Karsant always makes you feel at ease and that it can be fixed. I feel quite fortunate to have a dentist as well as his staff and family in my life on a professional and friendly level. They are the greatest in my book.

Since my first appointment at Dr. Karsant’s office He and his staff have always been warm and welcoming. Everything is organized and clean. And I’ve always received the best treatment as a patient and as a person by everyone.
I would recommend everybody to come here and to bring your family and friends. Also I feel that they use the latest technology and are professionally wise.

When I hear Doctor Karsant I think what and Angel. Truly he is, If you knew my
story you would totally agree with me. He is a very patient, patient Doctor. Working with
me was like working with a cornered bobcat. You had to peel me off the ceiling every 5
minutes. I had such a mouth full of issues. You could not work on me, I was already in so
much pain and had so much infection that I was not a good patient or easy to work on at
all. For that, I truly apologize.
This Dentist has brought me from Rags to Riches in so many ways, I can say I
trust him working on my mouth. That alone was very difficult.
True story: Sad, but true. Before I had my work done someone said to me, your
teeth looked like horse teeth. After that I went to see Dr. Karsant and he said he could
help me.
Like I said, I was not the easiest person to work on. REALL Y Imagine the worst fear of
the dentist, along with all the pain and infection I was harboring. I was untouchable.
What a Blessing he is. He gave me back the chance to laugh out loud and smile at
people. To be honest I was so sick for the longest time from the infection in my mouth
that I can't remember feeling this good and laughing this much in such a very long time. I
can actually eat again with out tremendous pain. You know what I mean. Enjoying
something delicious then zing, pain shoots true your mouth, .and that's it, your done with
dinner too much pain to finish .. Yea, little too often ..
Now, what a different story.
Implants are the way to go. It takes a little more time but completely worth it. It is like
having your own teeth back. You have comfort and confidence and you can actually
taste the food you are eating. You can laugh with out any embracing moments. Trust me
that happened more then once. Not so funny at the time.
So Thank You Doctor Krasant.. You are #1. Only problem with this is, the word
will get around and you will not be the BEST KEPT SECRET any longer. Oh well, It
was bound to happen sooner or later .. Thank you for having the patients and the vision to
turn my smile into something we can both be proud of. You're a good man and a great
Doctor. Thank You so very much That is the God honest truth

Dr. Karsant has been consistent in my treatment and has always been helpful with suggestions for future dental treatment, offering alternatives for good dental health and appearance. Dr. Karsant is the best. After many years of pain and discomfort, and a fear of the dentist chair because of unhappy visits with my previous dentists, I finally made an appointment with Dr. Karsant. He changed my life. No more pain and no more fear. I have been a patient for many years now and I would highly recommend him. His staff is also great-warm, welcoming and efficient.

Office Tour

Thank you for taking the time to visit our website. I am Dr. Peter Karsant and I have been practicing General and Implant Dentistry in San Francisco Excelsior district since 1986. Our patients call me Dr. Peter whether they are 2 or 102. My staff and I truly enjoy meeting new people and families which is one of the reasons I became a dentist...I like people. The other reason I became a dentist is that dentistry allows me to indulge my other two passions art and science; making a tooth appear as though it has never had a restoration or returning a mouth to full function through the science of Implant Dentistry. Some have told me I am a dying breed because I answer my emergency pages within twenty minutes, come into the office after normal hours to treat emergencies and because I make house calls for patients who are home bound; I love my profession and I like my patients. As you enter the office you may see a sign a Geoffrey Dental Laboratory; we have our own dental lab on site named after my young son. My staff is highly trained, friendly and can multi-task, they are great! My staff and I understand that not everyone likes coming to the dentist so we go out of our way to explain each procedure before, during and after we have performed the procedure. For children we always TELL them what we are going to do, SHOW them and DO the procedure while they look in the mirror and watch most times. Our patients appreciate that they can have all of their children dental needs and all of their dental needs provided for to a very high standard in one office. • Tiffany Ball - RDA and Receptionist of 8 years. Tiffany is currently taking the college course work for entrance into Dental school.
• Joanne - Manager and Head Technician for Geoffreys Dental Lab (Our in office lab for Crowns and Bridges) of 2 years. She is fluent in Spanish.
• Katie - RDA and back Office Assistant of 8 months.
